come to one of our meetings
to see what we do. Typical meetings include:

- Door prize
- Information about current happenings in the hobby
- Show and tell
- An educational program
- Chances to win coins, etc. in a raffle
- An auction enabling members to buy and sell coins, etc.
- An opportunity to meet other hobbyists and coin dealers

The membership
includes many dealers including several who operated full time coin
stores. It also includes many hobbyists with a wide variety of
interests. We have a very wide range of expertise and experience
among the membership. This results in very knowledgeable
educational presentations as well as opportunities to learn from many of
the activities that go on during the meeting. While US and
foreign coins and currency are the most frequent focus of our members,
other interests include tokens, stamps, casino chips, ancient coins and
other collectibles. The attendance at our meetings averages
from 50 to 80 members.
Members are invited to bring up to 5 lots of coins, etc. to be auctioned
off to those attending. They may set minimum acceptable bid
amounts. This is a very popular way for members to buy and sell
coins.
